Product Manager
Move up to product management: discover what users need, prove it with data, set the strategy, and lead products built with and on AI.
About 5 to 6 months, two courses at a time. 7 courses, 42 live one-on-one sessions, 63 hours with your trainers.
The job
A product manager decides what a product should become and why. They understand users and the market, choose the problems worth solving, turn them into a strategy and a roadmap, work every day with design and engineering, and measure whether the product really changes something for users and for the business. More and more, they also decide where AI belongs in the product, and lead features built on it.
Why now
Product management is still hiring, but not like before. Companies now want product people who are operational from day one, who work from evidence and outcomes rather than feature lists, and who know how to handle AI in their product. This path is built for people moving up into that role.
At The Product Crew, a French product recruitment firm, junior product managers now make up less than 5% of hiring requests: companies want experienced, operational product people.

AI Product Management
Who it's for
- Product owners who want to take on the full product manager role
- Business analysts, project managers and consultants moving into product
- Designers, developers and data people who want to own product decisions
- Product managers who learned on the job and want a complete, modern method with AI
Before you start
At least two years of professional experience, ideally around a digital product or service. No coding is needed, including for the SQL course. A real product, current or recent, to work on during the courses is strongly recommended.
What you'll be able to do
- Own a product backlog with a clear vision, real priorities and testable user stories
- Run discovery: interview users, test ideas cheaply and decide from evidence
- Answer your own questions with data: metrics, funnels, retention and basic SQL
- Prototype ideas with AI tools and test them with real users before anything is built
- Build a product strategy and an outcome-based roadmap, and defend it with business arguments
- Make portfolio choices and lead products and features built on AI
Certificates
A certificate of completion for each course, and a path certificate, “Product Manager”, once all seven courses are done.
Questions
How long does the path take?
About 5 to 6 months, taking two courses at a time. You can also go one course at a time, which takes longer.
I'm already a product owner. Do I start at the beginning?
The path is one package. If you already master a subject, tell us during the intro call and we will look at it together.
Do I need to code for the SQL course?
No. It starts from zero and stays on the questions a product person asks every day.
Can I take a break?
Yes, between two courses. Inside a course, the usual session rules apply.
In which language?
English or French, chosen at the start for the whole path: sessions, documents and certificates.
Will this get me a job?
Nobody can honestly promise that. The path builds the skills employers ask for today, and leaves you with a portfolio you can show.
