DevOps & Cloud Engineer
Move into DevOps and cloud work: run Linux with method, build on the cloud, automate delivery and infrastructure, and run applications on Kubernetes.
About 6 months, one stage after the other. 5 courses, 30 live one-on-one sessions, 45 hours with your trainers.
The job
A DevOps and cloud engineer makes sure software gets from a developer's laptop to users safely, and keeps running once it is there. They run Linux servers, build and secure cloud environments, describe infrastructure as code, automate testing and releases with pipelines, and run applications in containers. When something breaks, they find out why with method, and they make sure it does not break the same way twice.
Why now
Infrastructure keeps moving to the cloud and to automation. Skills such as the cloud, containers and Git now show up across many IT job offers, not only in those with DevOps in the title. This path is built for people who want to add them to the IT experience they already have.
Docker and Git appear among the skills listed in developer job offers in France.

The journey
STAGE 1 · FOUNDATIONS
Linux, Bash & Automation for Cloud Ops
STAGE 2 · CLOUD
Cloud Fundamentals: Azure or AWS, and Sovereign Cloud
STAGE 3 · AUTOMATION
CI/CD, GitOps & Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / OpenTofu)
STAGE 4 · CONTAINERS
Containers & Kubernetes
STAGE 5 · RUN AND COST
Observability, SRE & FinOps
Who it's for
- System administrators who want to move from manual work to cloud and automation
- Support and IT engineers moving towards DevOps or cloud roles
- Developers who want to own how their code is tested, released and run
- IT people who already touch the cloud or Docker and want a complete, structured method
Before you start
Comfortable with computers and basic IT: files, networks, installing software. Some exposure to the command line helps, but the first course starts from the basics. You will need a computer where you can install software, and a personal cloud account for practice (the courses keep costs low with budget alerts).
What you'll be able to do
- Run Linux servers with method: users, permissions, services, logs, networking and safe Bash scripts
- Build a small, secure workload on Azure or AWS, with least-privilege access, a budget and monitoring
- Automate testing and releases with CI/CD pipelines, including approvals and tested rollbacks
- Describe cloud infrastructure in Terraform and run it as a team, with remote state and separate environments
- Containerise an application and run it on Kubernetes with Helm and GitOps
- Observe and harden your systems (logs, metrics, traces, SLOs) and keep cloud and AI costs under control
Certificates
A certificate of completion for each course, and a path certificate, “DevOps & Cloud Engineer”, once all five courses are done.
Questions
How long does the path take?
About 6 months: one course per stage, because each step builds on the one before. You can also go one course at a time, which takes longer.
I already know Linux. Do I start at the beginning?
The path is one package. If you already master a subject, tell us during the intro call and we will look at it together.
Will I pay for a cloud account?
You use your own personal account for practice. The courses keep resources small, set budget alerts from day one and clean up after each exercise, but check your provider's current pricing and free offers yourself.
Does the path prepare me for a cloud certification?
The cloud course covers many of the same topics as the AWS and Azure fundamentals exams, but it is not an exam preparation course and does not guarantee a result.
Can I take a break?
Yes, between two courses. Inside a course, the usual session rules apply.
In which language?
English or French, chosen at the start for the whole path: sessions, documents and certificates.
Will this get me a job?
Nobody can honestly promise that. The path builds the skills employers ask for today, and leaves you with a portfolio you can show.
